Some netizens said that Pia should behave as Miss U should, since she is representing the Philippines which is known to be a conservative country.
It seems that most people would want Pia to behave like "dalagang pilipina" as what they call it, that she should do her job as Miss U first instead of flirting and having fun with her new found love.
